Actionable team-based learning built around company application assignments are at the heart of the performance and profit impact derived from team-based learning.

Team Leader, Team Coach  & Company Application Assignments

In the sample program above, session content is delivered in either a webinar or with a tutorial video. Following individual learning and preparation, a web-based team meeting is conducted with a Team Leader and Team Coach. The Team Leader is typically a senior member of the team and the Team Coach is an outside content professional. The role of the Team Leader is to coordinate team meetings, manage team member involvement, and see that the team assignment is completed as scheduled. The role of the Team Coach is threefold: to answer questions with respect to session content in the web-based meeting; to provide guidelines for the team application assignment; and to review the team application assignment and provide a consultant’s review of the application assignment with the team.

Team Feedback Report & Performance Impact

The Team Coach provides a review of the team assignment and makes recommendations in the form of a Team Feedback Report. A copy is sent to each team member approximately one week following the date that the application assignment is submitted. At the next team meeting the Team Coach will review the application and Team Performance and Profit Impact. Shown below is the average profit impact produced by 55 teams from 3 companies.
